Denna kvilt har jag gjort med inspiration från många resor i Grekland och Italien där vi har besökt utgrävningar och ruiner efter fantastiska byggnader. Från Knossos på Kreta, Akropolis i Aten och den heliga ön Delos till Italienska Pompeji, Paestum och Herculaneum. Allt från hundratals år före Kristi födsel.

I have made this quilt with inspiration from many trips to Greece and Italy where we have visited excavations and ruins of fantastic buildings. From Knossos in Crete, the Acropolis in Athens and the holy island of Delos to Italian Pompeii, Paestum and Herculaneum. Everything from hundreds of years before the birth of Christ.

Finns det något mer praktfullt än stjärnhimlen? När jag flyttade till Gotland blev det en nyupptäckt av den fantastiska himlen som kan ses över vårt hus i Fröjel.

Is there anything more magnificent than the starry sky? When I moved to Gotland, it was a new discovery of the fantastic sky that appeared over our house in Fröjel.
