- Barock Rock
Rocken är sydd i siden och viskos. Det gyllenbruna tyget, i ärmar, krage och infodring är siden. Sömmarna på bl.a. ärmarna har jag sytt på min Cover lockmaskin, 3 nålar syr parallellt och en väver ihop på undersidan av tyget, en dekorationssöm som också ”låser” fast sömsmånen på baksidan. Ärmsluten är veckade med hjälp av en plisségaffel. De andra delarna på jackan är sydda av viskos från secondhandbutiker. Storlek 38-40.
För ett antal år sedan var jag i Dubai och köpte sidentyget. För en tygälskare som jag var det ett tygparadis där.
- Baroque Coat
The coat is sewn in silk and viscose. The golden brown fabric, in sleeves, collar and lining is silk. The seams on i.a. the sleeves I sewed on my Cover cover machine, 3 needles sew in parallel and one weaves together on the underside of the fabric, a decorative stitch that also ”locks” the seam allowance on the back. The cuffs are pleated with the help of a pleat fork. The other parts of the jacket are sewn in viscose fabric from second-hand shops. Size 38-40.
A number of years ago I was in Dubai and bought the silk fabric. For a fabric lover like me, it was a fabric paradise there.
- Rosenrött
Klänningstyget är skapat av modedesignern Valentino. Ärmarna är sydda i chiffongtyg i två olika tyglager (beige+rött) för att få den rätta röda nyansen. Fållen på ärmarna och nertill på klänningen är gjorda av tygets stadkanter. Dekorationssömmar har jag sytt på min Cover lockmaskin, 3 nålar syr parallellt och en väver ihop sömmen på undersidan av tyget, en dekorationssöm som också ”låser” fast sömsmånen på baksidan. Storlek 38-40.
Designern Valentino älskade rosor och de röda rosornas olika röda nyanser, utifrån den inspirationen skapade han detta klänningstyg. Tyget köpte jag på en mässa, som sålde Italienska modetyger.
- Rose red
The dress fabric is created by the fashion designer Valentino. The sleeves are sewn in chiffon fabric in two different fabric layers (beige+red) to get the right shade of red. The hems of the sleeves and the bottom of the dress are made from the staid edges of the fabric. I have sewn decorative stitches on my Cover cover machine, 3 needles sew in parallel and one weaves the seam together on the underside of the fabric, a decorative stitch that also ”locks” the seam allowance on the back. Size 38-40.
The designer Valentino loved roses and the different red shades of the red roses, based on that inspiration he created this dress fabric. I bought the fabric at a fair that sold Italian fashion fabrics.
- I blickfånget
Klänningens är sydd i bomullstyg. Tygerna är inköpta på secondhand. Det blå tyget har jag färgat från vitt till petrol för att matcha fasanerna. Tyget har även skurits till på ”skrå” för att bli pressade till snedremsor till hals- och ärmkanter och fållen nertill för att skapa en helhet i färgerna.
Jag är intresserad av fåglar förutom det textila skapandet, så denna klänning kommer jag ofta att använda och njuta av påfåglarnas elegans.
- In sight
The dress is made of cotton fabric. The fabrics are purchased secondhand. I have dyed the blue fabric from white to petrol to match the pheasants. The fabric has also been cut on a ”slant” to be pressed into diagonal strips for neck and sleeve edges and the hem at the bottom to create a whole in the colors.
I am interested in birds apart from the textile creation, so this dress I will often use and enjoy the elegance of the peacocks.

- Semesterminne
Fiskstimmet är tryckt med textilfärger, som jag blandat för att få fram de olika nyanserna. Med hjälp av skumgummibitar har jag ”duttat” färg på en ljushållare i form av en fisk och ögonen är tryckta med hjälp av två olika trådrullar. På baksidan är det vadderat för att få lite struktur och jag har sytt med metalltråd på symaskin för att dekorera fiskarna.
För ett antal år sedan var vi i familjen till en ögrupp i Västindien, Turks & Caicos, där vi snorklade och såg färggranna och helt fantastiska fiskstim. När jag gjorde denna tavla blev den som ett semesterminne.
- Souvenir
The fish shoal is printed with textile colours, which I mixed to bring out the different shades. With the help of pieces of foam rubber, I have ”dabbed” paint on a candle holder in the shape of a fish and the eyes are printed with the help of two different rolls of thread. On the back it is padded to give it some structure and I have sewn with metallic thread on a sewing machine to decorate the fish.
A number of years ago, we were in the family of an island group in the West Indies, Turks & Caicos, where we snorkeled and saw colorful and absolutely fantastic shoals of fish. When I made this painting, it became like a holiday memory.

- Romantik
Denna klänning är sydd i bomull och yttertyget i polyester. Storlek 38-42
Den här klänningen ville jag göra skir och romantisk med ett yttertyg som kan fladdra i vinden. Oket fram och bak är klippt till från en duk och snedslån på fållen på det aprikosfärgade tyget har jag tillverkat av ett annat blått tyg. Skärpet använder man om man vill.
- Romance
This dress is sewn in cotton and the outer fabric is polyester. Size 38-42
I wanted to make this dress sheer and romantic with an outer fabric that can flutter in the wind. The yoke at the front and back is cut from a table cloth, and the bias tape on the hem of the apricot fabric I made from another blue fabric. You can use the belt if you want.
